North Carolina has numerous Motocross, ATV / Quad, Enduro, and Off-Road Motorcycle riding opportunites. Motocross, Hare Scrambles and ATV racing events are held at a number of tracks throughout the state and there are a number of MX race series available for the serious racer. Most of the tracks feature scheduled open practice days that are perfect for racers looking to increase their skills or for non-racers that just want to get out and ride their dirt bike. Penrose, North Carolina features Dark Green Motorsports which is one of the nation's only electric motorcycle motocross tracks. If you or your children are interested in getting started in the sport of Motocross your local track is a great place to start.

| Greenville Blackjack MX Motocross Track
Blackjack MX located in Greenville North Carolina features 2 Motocross Tracks. The Kids Motocross Track includes tabletops, multiple rollers, whoops, berms, and switchbacks. This track has a fenced in area with plenty of viewing options to maintain a safe and fun riding environment. Children of all ages are welcome on this track to gain experience on their way to the next level. The Full Size Motocross Track features a step-on step-off, rhythm section, switch backs, doubles, table tops, bowl turns, whoops, and nice ruts. Both tracks are side by side for easy viewing. You can practice your starts in the start section next to the kids track. The Full Size MX Track is designed to accommodate riders of all skill levels, whether you are an A rider or a D rider this track has a little bit of everything. The track has a nice family atmosphere and plenty of parking. Blackjack MX has a mix of mulch and sand, which makes for a nice loam. | Kinston Ironclad Motorsports Motocross Ironclad Motorsports is located just one mile south of Kinston, NC at the Lenoir County Fairgrounds. The facility features a Supercross style motocross track and an AMA National ATV clay flat track. The motocross track features corners, berms, rhythm section, whoop section, jumps, table-tops, catapult, and a signature sweeper turn. Doubles and triple jumps are strategically arranged for the advanced riders, but fully rollable by less experienced riders. The entire track is designed for riders of all skill levels and bike sizes. The ATV flat track is entirely clay and is primarily designed to meet the standards set by the AMA ATV Extreme Dirt Track Series. This track features wide and narrow corners, off-camber turns, small jumps, and plenty of straights. The track also comes complete with a scorer's tower, starting light, and a grandstand for the fans. Both tracks feature stadium lighting to accommodate night racing. | Mebane MidSouth Motocross MidSouth Motocross is a MX track and practice facility for beginner to advanced dirt bike riders (practice only no racing). MidSouth Motocross features a full size motocross track ranging in difficulty and experience for every level of rider. There is also a track for mini riders and beginners, giving kids/beginners ample room and time to develop into confident riders that can eventually progress to the more advanced track. | Penrose Dark Green Motorsports Dark Green Motorsports is the first electric Motorcross Track in the country. The 1,400 meter track has all the thrills veteran racers crave! If you’re an experienced rider who loves whoops, hops, table tops, and doubles, you’ll be sure to get your adrenaline fix at this track. The electric bikes have no clutch, transmission, gears, or foot brake so they are easy to ride. The track is open to riders seven days a week (weather permitting) and can accommodate up to eight riders at a time.
