Fern Prairie Modelers is an Academy of Model Aeronautics Charter flying club located near Portland, WA. Members fly various forms of RC aircraft including fixed wing planes, gliders, helicopters, and pylon racers. Control line planes are also welcome. The flying field is located on land leased from the Port of Camas-Washougal. FPM offers a training program for new pilots. The Serenity Flyers flying field is located on a 60 acre farm and features multiple runways. The runways include two 260' x 15' intersecting fabric runways along with a 30' x 200' grass runway. There are no fees to fly but donations are accepted to help offset the cost of maintaining the flying facilities.

Higgins Field is the home flying field for the Miniature Aircraft Association. Higgins Field features multiple paved runways that can accommodate up to 10 aircraft at one time. Additional amenities include gravel parking lot, permanent restrooms, and over night camping is available. Club offers Free flight training for new pilots. MAA has numerous certified flight instructors and a trainer plane. The trainer plane is equipped with a Buddy-Box system that provides a safe flying experience for pilots with no prior experience. 3 Free flight training sessions are available before club membership is required. The Miniature Aircraft Association is an AMA charter #3342 club that fly all forms of RC aircraft. Several special events are held at the field each year.
