University of Akron Student Rec and Wellness Center Climbing Wall

The Climbing Wall is available, during open hours, to all currently enrolled University of Akron students and Student Recreation and Wellness Center members who are 18 years of age or older.

Climbing Wall at the Blue Ash Recreation Center

Blue Ash Recreation Center features 1,400 square feet of climbing space that is 30 feet tall. Top rope (and lead climbing routes) with 5 stations and bouldering (unharnessed climbing).

Ashland University Climbing Wall

The Climbing Wall, built by Entre Prise, Inc., consists of a 12’ bouldering wall and five 24’ top rope courses to accommodate multiple users of every ability. The “naturals” in the wall actually let the climber use the wall to climb instead of simply using standard climbing holds. To vary the texture, difficulty, and diversity of the routes, our holds come from numerous manufacturing companies and routes are changed as often as possible.

Outdoor Pursuits Indoor Climbing Wall

The Outdoor Pursuits Indoor climbing wall is located in the lobby of the Charles J. Ping Student Recreation Center. The wall is double sided and 36 feet tall by 13 feet wide, offering approximately 936 square feet of climbing area. The climbing wall is a state-of-the art design that combines integrate synthentic rock with more than 400 potential hand and foot holds.

Bowling Green State University Climbing Wall

The climbing wall is a highlight of the Student Recreation Center, at 35 feet tall, opportunities are offered for novice, intermediate, and advanced climbers. The climbing competition in the spring gives climbers the opportunity to test their skills against others in a friendly competitive event.

Washington Township Recreation Center Climbing Wall

The Climbing Wall has seven ropes that can be used to climb routes of varying difficulty. The wall is 24 feet high by 36 feet wide.

Beechmont Racquet Club

Beechmont Racquet Club features a 36' high climbing wall. Routes have been designed with all skill levels in mind.

Climb Time of Blue Ash

There are two styles of climbing available at Climb Time: top-roping and bouldering. Indoor climbing gym features 15, 30, 45 and 60 degree boulder walls.

RockQuest Climbing Center

Indoor climbing gym that features approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of climbing surface for beginner, intermediate, and advanced, including: Vertical heights of 18 - 45 ft. University of Cincinnati Climbing Wall

The Climbing Wall, built by Nicros, Inc., consists of two, 28' and four, 40' belay bars to accommodate multiple users. The WestCoast Wall offers varied terrain and features that provide a full spectrum of climbing experiences. The "naturals" in the wall give the climber the option to use the wall or the standard climbing holds to navigate routes/problems.

The Bouldering Wall is an expertly carved surface that enables climbers to feel as if they are climbing on natural rock. The climbing and bouldering wall areas total approximately 2,000 square feet of climbing space.

Scioto Audubon Metro Park Climbing Wall

The park has the largest free outdoor climbing wall in the United States available for experienced climbers to enjoy. The three towers and two arches of the main climbing wall reach a height of 35 feet, and extend over 6,100 square feet. Climbers must bring their own gear and equipment, including ropes, and must sign a liability waiver before using the wall for the first time.

Tom W. Davis Climbing Center

The Tom W. Davis Climbing Center features two state-of-the-art climbing walls, providing challenges and fun for beginning and experienced climbers alike. All climbing is on a drop-in basis including the main climbing wall, and the ice wall.

Vertical Adventures Rock Climbing

Vertical Adventures Rock Climbing gym features: 4000 sq. ft of varied climbing terrain, Separate lead and bouldering areas, Top ropes 25' high, Lessons from beginner through expert, Complete pro-shop.

Crooksville Recreation Center Climbing Wall

The Crooksville Recreation Center features an indoor Climbing Wall.

ORC Indoor Climbing Wall

The indoor climbing facility is FREE for students, faculty, staff, and alumni with a current Wright1 Card. There is a $5.33 daily guest fee; all guests must be accompanied by a current Wright1 Card holder. The gym accompodates both beginner climbers as well as advanced, with routes ranging from 5.4-5.11 and bouldering routes from beginner to advanced.

Urban Krag Fock Climbing Center

Urban Krag Fock Climbing Center features 8000 square feet of textured and sculpted vertical terrain with heights ranging from 28 to 56 feet. Gym also has an inclined bouldering wall for both advanced and beginner climbers.

Cleveland Rock Gym

Cleveland Rock Gym is an indoor climbing gym located in Euclid, Ohio.

Columbus Outdoor Pursuits

Columbus Outdoor Pursuits has its own Climbing Wall located in Licking County, just outside Granville, Ohio, where they hold weekly Wall Sessions year round. These sessions are a place to practice or learn in an open and social atmosphere.

Kent State University Climbing Wall

The climbing wall is 35 feet high and has 12 different climbing stations.

Oberlin College Climbing Wall

In the central atrium of Philips Center stands a four-sided, 25-foot pillar with more than 1,000 holds of all shapes and sizes - enough routes for climbers of any ability to challenge themselves and have fun. A 360-square-foot bouldering cave offers additional opportunities to develop strength and climbing skills. Qualified students provide instruction in bouldering, climbing, belaying, and even lead climbing.

Miami University Climbing Wall

Kendall Cliffs

Kendall Cliffs is a Nicros designed gym that has a combination of textured plywood and “natural” rock surfaces. Indoor gym has 7,000 square feet of climbing surface with a peak height of 35 feet. The most unique feature of the facility is a 35-foot high arch traversing the span of the building. Climbing gym offers top roping and lead climbing to keep even the most advanced climbers challenged. There is also a large rock bouldering cave.

The VRC climbing wall is 27 feet tall and is sure to be a challenge for any climber, novice or experienced.

Youngstown State University Indoor Rock Climbing Wall

One of the tallest in the state of Ohio at 53’. Program mix will include eight climbing routes and a 46’ rappelling platform. One-third of the lower wall is designed for bouldering opportunities.
