James Madision Universtiy features two rock climbing and bouldering locations. The JMU Adventure Center features bouldering walls that include a 360 degree climbing wall. The UREC Atrium features a 33 foot tall indoor climbing wall. No climbing experience is required and climbing instruction is available.

Liberty University Climbing Gym
The Liberty University climbing gym features an indoor rock wall with top rope climbing, lead route climbing, and bouldering area. The gym is located in the LaHaye Recreation Center and offers 4000 square feet of climbing area with a 40 foot climbing tower. Rental climbing equipment and climbing classes are available.
